I find that all I want to do anymore is bake. I have many life dreams, but among them, and floating near the top is this insane desire to bake delicious things. I think I could be very happy running a breakfast/lunch/sweet shop that also caters special occasions. Thought about it? Sure I have, but for now I'm just going to enjoy every moment of culinary delight within the walls of my own home.
And that thought comes with a confession. I may or may not have baked three different kinds of sweets today that will be carried to school tomorrow to be enjoyed by anyone I can pawn them off on. You see, when the family is away, I have a lot of time to myself, so I do what I enjoy most—bake. The sad thing is that I don't even have my mediocre camera to photograph these luscious sweets because Liz has it in Boston/Philadelphia/Washington D.C. Alas, cameraphone will have to do. Yes, I just made it one word.
So, while my big entrepreneurial dreams are simmering, I'm practicing my heart out, and here's the badly lit proof.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! Those lucky people at school! A sweet treat shop---that's a great idea!
My waistline is really glad it is far away from that delicious site! Yummy!
WHERE ARE THE RECIPES?!?!?!
I really want that Dorie Greenspan one, I can't stop thinking about it. Caramel? Yes, please.
